In this dramatic, dark portrait, the illustration contains strong shadows and highlights to create a striking and golden glow to the model. It’s shadows give dynamic shapes to the face, and emphasize other areas of the face nicely. The warm color scheme ties in the feeling of Fall, and the clothing give a “royal” touch that gives an air of elegance. Adding to this reagent energy, I used leaves as a crown to stay on theme.
