BLOODY MARY

This illustration is based on the legend of Bloody Mary. Queen Mary I of England, was labeled as "Bloody Mary" for her horrific actions against the protestant citizens of her kingdom. Because they refused to convert over to catholicism she took the lives of hundreds in a show of power. The art below is a book cover based on her character and the haunting history associated with her name.
